The Lucchesi nel Mondo Association will honor Lisa Gaddini Lendy and Aldo Giutini as Woman and Man of the Year on June 13 at the Mazzini-Verdi Club in Franklin Park.

Lendy is the president of Anichini Brothers Wholesale Meats, a family business that recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. Founded in 1925 by Lendy’s grandfather Silvio Anichini and his brothers, the company services some of the best restaurants in the Chicago area. Lendy’s mother, Sylvia (Anichini) Gaddini, is a past recipient of the Lucchesi Nel Mondo’s Medaglia d’Oro.
“Whether it’s with a sponsorship or food donation, Lisa is always ready to help the Lucchesi nel Mondo,” says last year’s honoree, Evelina Giannoni Springer.
Giutini was born in the province of Lucca in 1932 and came to America in 1961, making his living as a tool-and-die maker. An active member of the Lucchesi nel Mondo since he joined the group in 1980, he is also a member of the Mazzini-Verdi Club and the Giovanni Di Pascola, Barga.
