The National Italian American Foundation has elected its board of directors for the 2021-25 term.
Robert Carlucci, former NIAF vice chair of development, will serve as the foundation’s chairman, succeeding Patricia de Stacy Harrison and the late Gabriel Battista, who served as co-chairs.
Carlucci is the founder and CEO of RC Group, which operates Yum Brands Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut. He also co-founded Bay National Bank of Annapolis, Maryland.
On the philanthropic front, he served on the board of the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts and established the Carlucci Entrepreneurship Forum at the American University of Rome.
John Calvelli, executive vice chairman of public affairs for the Wildlife Conservation Society, will serve as executive vice chair; Peter Arduini, president and CEO of Integra LifeSciences, as vice chair of fund development; former major league player and manager Kenneth Aspromonte as vice chair international; and Anita Bevacqua McBride, former chief of staff to First Lady Laura Bush, as vice chair national.
The board consists of Fox News editor Maria Bartiromo; attorneys Nicholas Caiazzo and Louis Tosi; president and founder of the Sbarro Health Research Organization Dr. Antonio Giordano; former Congressman Michael A. Ferguson; private equity investor Philip Rinaldi; editor and journalist Alfonso Ruffo; former Ohio State Senator Capri Cafaro; former TD Ameritrade CEO Joseph Moglia; and integrative medicine specialist and community organizer Dr. John Rosa.
