Judge Marsalek to preside over Traffic Division

Judge Diann K. Marsalek will serve as acting presiding judge of the Traffic Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. She was appointed to the position by Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans. The supervising judge of the First Municipal Traffic Court since 2014, Marsalek was appoint to the bench by the Illinois Supreme Court in 2011 and elected in 2012. Her previous assignments include the Traffic, Evictions Post Judgment and Torts/Contract Claims courts. Barbanente named to Forbes list

Roberto Barbanente, a senior vice president and financial advisor at Morgan Stanley’s Chicago Wealth Management office, has been named to Forbes magazine’s America’s Top Next Generation Wealth Advisors since the list’s inception. Launched in 2017, the listing spotlights individuals born in 1980 or later who have at least four years of industry experience and either lead their teams or are viewed as potential leaders. The ranking is based on qualitative and quantitative data regarding revenue trends, compliance records, industry experience and best practices. Grace Salvino has joined the Salvino Wealth Management Team at William Blair Private Wealth Management. Grace is the daughter of Tom Salvino, who partners with his brother John and father, Al, to form the Salvino team. Grace is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in economics and was a member of the school’s varsity soccer team. She is now pursuing her MBA at the University of Chicago. Grace will be assisting with research and financial reporting.
