Robert Allegrini

Robert Allegrini is a travel writer specializing in Italy and hospitality topics. He is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and author of the book "Chicago’s Grand Hotels." Allegrini spent three decades as a senior public relations executive for major hospitality companies including Regent, Swissotel, Hyatt and Hilton. Long active in Italian American affairs, Allegrini is a past President of the Italian American Chamber of Commerce-Midwest and is currently Executive Vice President of the National Italian American Foundation. His service to Italy was recognized with a knighthood in the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
