James Scalzitti

James Scalzitti has been a reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, and City News Bureau of Chicago. He has served in communications and media relations roles for city and county government offices, earning multiple awards for writing and marketing campaigns. He earned his master’s degree in public policy from DePaul University which included an in-depth study of the Northern Ireland conflict in a study abroad program in Belfast, Northern Ireland. A longtime correspondent for Fra Noi, Scalzitti has also been a member of the board of directors of the Italian American Veterans Museum since 2016.
