Dolores Sennebogen

For the past 25 years, Dolores has been the beloved food columnist for Fra Noi for a quarter of a century. She took her first foray into publishing when she authored “From Ann’s Kitchen: The Recipes and Reminiscences of Ann Sorrentino,” which contained the favorite recipes assembled by her recently deceased mother, who served as Fra Noi’s food columnist before her. A retired librarian, Dolores is a member of numerous Italian American organizations, including the JCCIA Women’s Division, Amici Naperville Area Italian American Club, Philanthropic Education Organization and the American Italian Cultural Society.

Living a balanced life

A 2022 study confirmed that Italians have the right approach to life. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development promotes policies that improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world. In a study of 22 countries, Italy scored 9.4 out of 10 on the OECD Better Life Index in the category of work-life balance. That is the highest of all the participating countries.
