Pecori inducted into prestigious national academy

The National Academy of Construction has elected Satch Pecori as a member of its class of 2018. Established in 1999, the NAC inducts leaders from a variety of backgrounds who have made outstanding, life-long contributions to the design, construction and engineering industries. The president and CEO of Springfield, Illinois-based Hanson Professional Services Inc., Pecori was formally inducted on Oct. 11 during the NAC annual meeting. “Satch” Pecori to chair Engineering Council

Sergio “Satch” Pecori, chairman and CEO of Hanson Professional Services Inc., has been named chairman of the American Council of Engineering Companies. Pecori, who served as chair-elect of ACEC this past year, accepted the post in April during ACEC’s annual convention in Washington, D.C. He will serve until April 2018. “ACEC represents the engineering industry on the legislative and business practice fronts,” Pecori says. “It is an honor to serve as chair.” ACEC has more than 600,000 members from 5,000 firms across the U.S. Hanson is an employee-owned consulting firm providing engineering, planning and allied services.
