Onesti Entertainment opened three new food and music venues in one place at the former 27 Live building in Evanston in January.
After almost two years and hundreds of thousands of dollars in renovations, Rock ’N Ravioli Italian restaurant, Bourbon ’N Brass speakeasy bar and the Evanston Rocks music hall are now in full swing.
Rock ’N Ravioli serves up recipes from the family kitchen of founder and CEO Ron Onesti. The “Rock ’N Rav” menu boasts an array of homemade fillings and sauces, including braised short ribs and potato, chicken Vesuvio, lobster and asparagus, and pumpkin with a Frangelico creme sauce. The “Rock ’N Za” menu features deep-dish and stuffed pizzas. A full menu with a variety of small plates rounds out the offerings.
Bourbon & ’N Brass showcases craft cocktails and beers, a cabaret and an antique-laden 1920s atmosphere. Evanston Rocks spotlights local and national talent performing in a wide range of genres.
Sam Cook’s daughter Carla Cook will perform on March 2 and 3, rappers Seckond Chaynce and Gutter Souls will take to the stage on March 9, and Kiss tribute band Mr. Speed will perform on March 31. (evanstonrocks.com)
