Verdian masterpiece The Lyric Opera of Chicago will present Giuseppe Verdi’s tragic masterpiece “Rigoletto” from Sept. 14 to Oct. 6. A tale of jealousy, vengeance and sacrifice, it centers on the licentious Duke of Mantua; his hunchbacked court jester, Rigoletto; and Rigoletto’s daughter, Gilda.
