Casa Italia is a home for the Chicago-area Italian-American community. Located at 3800 Division St., Stone Park, the Casa contains the Italian Cultural Center, Community Center, Office Center, Banquet Center, Festival Center and Calvary Hill Shrine on 17 landscaped acres. Casa Italia hosts Stations of the Cross during lent, an Italian language immersion summer camp in the summer. The Italian Cultural Center hosts a dinner dance in February, an art exhibit in August and an opera competition in the fall, and sponsors language classes, movie nights, lecturers and other educational and cultural events. Italian-American organizations and individuals sponsor meetings, masses, retreats, dinners, picnics, summer festivals, performances, and other indoor and outdoor special events at the Casa.
