Super Lawyers magazine has named 13 attorneys at Chicago-based Romanucci & Blandin to its 2024 Top 100 Super Lawyers, Illinois Super Lawyers and Illinois Rising Stars. Among them are several Italian-American attorneys, among them founding partner Antonio Romanucci, who ranked among the top 10 on the Illinois list.
Super Lawyers relies on peer selection and review, third-party research, and professional achievement to curate its lists. Candidates are eligible as Rising Stars if they are 40 or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less. Only 5% of attorneys in Illinois earned the Super Lawyer title and only 2.5% received the title of Rising Star.
This edition marks the 20th year that Romanucci and fellow founding partner Stephan Blandin appear on the Super Lawyers list, with managing and senior partner Gina Arquilla DeBoni and senior partner Frank Sommario joining them on the Illinois Super Lawyers list. Partner Bruno Marasso and attorney Michelle DiSilvestro were among the 2024 Illinois Rising Stars. Romanucci and Sommario are past presidents of the Justinian Society of Lawyers.
“When Stephan and I founded this firm more than 25 years ago, we were focused on doing the right thing for our clients, and we still are,” Romanucci says. “This recognition by our peers for that work is very much appreciated.”
