Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Incorporated in 2008, the Sons and Daughters of Italy in America serves as a social, cultural, and charitable organization whose core concepts are integrity, unity, and famiglia. SADIA hosts a Carnevale di Venezia in February, a St. Joseph Table in March, a scholarship awards dinner in June, a summer outing to the Schaumburg Boomer’s baseball game and a Christmas brunch in December. It is a founding vendor at Schaumburg’s Septemberfest, which takes place over the Labor Day weekened. The organization plans various fundraisers and traditional, Italian heritage events throughout the year.  SADIA contributes to local and national charities.  Officers are installed every two years in December, membership meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month.
