Fra Noi Embrace Your Inner Italian
The Lucchesi nel Mondo Association will honor Antonio Petrucci and Evelina Giannoni Springer as Man and Woman of the Year on June 14 at the Mazzini Verdi Club in Franklin Park.

Petrucci traces his roots to Bagni di Lucca and has been active in the association for many years, currently serving on the board of directors. He fondly recalls attending Lucchesi nel Mondo events as a boy with his father, Tony. Petrucci and his brother co-own Franklin Park Plumbing, where their father previously worked.
Springer traces her roots to Lucca and she, too, has been active in the association for years, currently sitting on the board and serving as secretary. She has co-chaired the association’s Casino Night and last year hosted an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the death of Puccini. She works as a senior manager in the Anti-Money Laundering division at Charles Schwab.
“I and other members have been pushing to get the next generation of Lucchesi involved and continue the traditions our parents started,” Springer says. “I’m honored to be named this year’s Woman of the Year and hope to continue to grow the club and provide enjoyable events for our members and guests.”
