Founded in 1965, the Italian American Executives of Transportation serves as a social, cultural and charitable outlet for its membership, which includes but is not limited to the transportation industry. The IAET hosts a candlelight bowl in January, a pasta party in March, a golf outing in June, a day at the races in September, a Man of the Year dinner dance in November and a Christmas Party in December. The group also offers scholarships, spearheads volunteer efforts and makes donations to worthy causes. Annual dues are $50 and $35 for seniors. Officers are installed in each year December and general meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month.

Hello, I was wondering if my father would qualify as a member. His name is Frank Parilla. He was vice-president of the Uniform Classification Committee for the railroads. He is 91 years old, but worked for the railroad classification committee most of his life.

    • I’m sure he does, Catherine.

      I’ll pass your inquiry along.

Someone will be in touch shortly.
